My vote goes to Doogie White I think his vocals match with Yngwie's playing perfectly.

I actually really like his early demos with his voice too.

Mark Boals is definitely my favourite. Doogie is alright but nowhere near Mark IMO (he's definitely a lot better on Unleash than Attack -- when I first heard Attack, Doogie was my least favourite). Anyone else think that Goran Edman sometimes sounds like he's stuffed his mouth with cotton wool?

I actually really like his early demos with his voice too. So do I. It's a pity he hasn't got a larger vocal range though -- I'd like to hear more stuff with Yngwie's voice but his range does limit what he'll let himself sing.

I have always liked Jeff Scott Soto's voice from early Yngwie days, but has anyone heard how much better he has become lately(In Talisman, Eyes and Soul Sirkus) ,,, He is one of the best singers in the world(IMO)... Check out the Queen-tribute DVD Jeff sings on (42 Queen songs!), it's at least as good as Freddy!,,,

For the Cds i have to say doogie cuz i like his style but i think he does struggle live on a couple of the older songs. The best live singers that i have seen are Mats then Doogie then Mike and then Mark.

Soto is my chosen one. Mark did a very good job in "Child in time" too.

When I first heard the song I thought it was the original until the Yngwie solo. He sings that song pretty dam well.

I've watched a bootleg video from him singing it in London 1996. Pretty nice powerful voice. I don't know if you've seen it or not. I can give you the link.
