I do feel the same about rising force however, and I only gave it a 9 because it was too short. Hey dont forget that at the time of Rising Force the LP was still king and then it was quite a long album, so i think you should take this into account and give it 10 At the top of my faves (which is always a changing) today is Facing the Animal.

Im suprised at the low rating for Eclipse and Fire and Ice, those were great albums. Hmmm..... I understand the low ratings completely. For me, it's mostly Goran's voice that puts me off a few of the songs from these albums, not to mention some of the lyrics (Making Love and Bedroom Eyes come to mind *peuks*). I've been known to fast forward through parts of these songs But what I've heard of the instrumentals on Fire & Ice (still don't have this album), I love. Perpetual is lush! ;D There's an odd combination of the good, the bad and the ugly on these 2 albums.

I agree on some songs about Gorans voice, but there are some absolute masterpeices on those 2 albums. Have you heard Devil in Disguise on Eclipse or How Many Miles To Babylon from Fire and Ice? If not I will upload them to you so can partake.

Despite there being some good songs on each of those albums (like Demon Driver, which is one of my favorites, Final Curtain, Fire and Ice, How Many Miles to Babylon, Judas, etc.), I'm not feeling them like I do the first four albums. In my opinion, there's not as amazing guitar work, and Goran's voice can be annoying sometimes. They're definetly not bad albums, but kinda average over all, in my opinion.

On another note, queenofshred was right about Unleash the Fury. It has grown on me more. I still don't think it's a great album, but now on par with Attack for me, which is good. Locked and Loaded, Guardian Angel, Revolution Winds of War, and Cherokee Warrior are great, and Paraphrase, and Revelation are good too, IMO. Many run of the mill yet good songs on there, actually. I think it might be on the way to surpassing Attack, IMO.

I haven't heard How Many Miles To Babylon, so if you could upload it, I'll be very happy ;D . I was supposed to be getting Fire and Ice for Christmas but instead got, "I won't be responsible for fueling this Yngwie Malmsteen obsession. Buy yourself a non-Malmsteen present in the sales and I'll pay for it."

I've always wished I could take the guitar solo from Teaser (it's on Fire & Ice) and place it into another song I can actually stand to listen to. That song is, to me anyways, as bad as songs from Warrant, Brittny Fox, or any of those 80's glam bands that I can't stand. Heaven Tonight may have been cheesy, but it wasn't a horrible song like Teaser.

;D LOL yea, Teaser is pretty bad, I like the opening riff tho and I use it to test new amps/guitars equip for that "Yngwie mid-range bark" that and the riff for Fire from trilogy 'cause theyre so similar.

I had pretty much stopped watching MTV altogether by the time that song came out. I still have the Guitar mag that had has that song transcribed. The bridge before the solo is great too.

[quote author=queenofshred board=reviews thread=1124835721 post=1136925699 lol I look forward to hearing it I've never heard of Warrant, or Brittny Fox (guess I'm not missing much).[/quote] Warrant sings that song Cherry Pie. the chorus is a rip-off of I Love Rock and Roll by Joan Jet. They just changed the lyrics to She's my Cherry Pie.
