The three piece Young Guitar videos was what learned me how to play like Yngwie. Because i thought first that it was impossible to play like him. But in the videos he he sits down and is just like a normal being (on stage and on the CD:s hes God!) playing through a little amp that i also have in flesh and blood. So thought, wow if this guy can do those thing, well so can i. So i sat infront of the screen and took in everything he said and did. So now i can pretty much say i can play like him...maybe 65% like him. I will never ever gonna play 100% just like him. Its impossible.
But you have to have played for a couple of years before learning fro0m his videos, trust me. its not easy things he shows.

Not me, day one it was Blackstar. First song I ever finished. He was the reason I picked up the guitar in the first place so it made sense that I learn him first.

Yeah, Trilogy Suite just has sentimental value since it was the song that started it all for me.

I love the live version for that song especially on Live In Lenningrad. Actually the live Blackstar is sweet as well.

Yeah, Trilogy Suite just has sentimental value since it was the song that started it all for me. Same here. When I got my violin, the first thing I did was try to play that (and that's what twinkle twinkle little star morphed into in my first lesson when my teacher was busy listening to someone else lol).

Far Beyond the Sun is my favourite though. It has that Beethoven feel to it and a great sense of direction.
